Comfort For A Cause - Raising Awareness - Cancer Affects Us All.

Share the joy

Over the last 25 years, we have grown as a home services company and as a family.  Our employees, customers and community are part of that family and what affects one of us, affects us all.  This month our A#1 Air family has partnered with National Breast Cancer Foundation in a campaign to raise awareness and funding for a cause that has touched many throughout our community.  Comfort For A Cause, is inspired by James' mom Sherril, who has successfully battled breast cancer and is a survivor of 7 years.  Sherril is a true testament to the importance of early detection.

"The old saying 'An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure' couldn't be more true.  Early detection, and the support and love of my family, is what saved me." -Sherril

Our employees and customers have rallied around this cause and are so excited that as a company we are giving back.  Many of them have their own personal connections to this disease.  We've traded in our traditional red shirts for pink and you might even see a pink A#1 Air truck in the neighborhood!

  • For the month of October, we are offering up to 60% OFF all Air Conditioning equipment, while donating a portion of all proceeds to help bring awareness about early detection through many of the services provided by National Breast Cancer Foundation.
  • We are also donating an extra $5 for each selfie taken with our trucks or employees.  Post to any of our social channels with the tag #ComfortForACause and help us raise awareness.
  • A#1 Air is conducting an online auction for the installation of a complete Daikin 16 SEER air conditioning and heating system with a 12 year parts warranty. Place your bid online and on October 28th you could be the proud owner of a new high efficiency system with 100% of the proceeds going to help save lives.

More about our Partner, National Breast Cancer Foundation

The National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor, Janelle Hail.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1980 at the age of 34.  At the time of her diagnosis, there was little information about the disease, and she was forced to make a decision about her health with few options.  After her treatment, Janelle made a commitment to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.
