Breast cancer is one of the leading health crises for women in the United States. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. There is currently no known cure for breast cancer, and its early diagnosis is critical to survival.

For the last 25 years, we have built a company on the promise Always Treat Your Customers Like Family.  James' mother, Sherril, has been an important inspiration throughout the years and the reason behind this special partnership. Our family was deeply effected by this disease when Sherril was diagnosed with Breast Cancer about 7 years ago.  Sherril is a breast cancer survivor and has always given great advice when it comes to serving others. That is why in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, A#1 Air has partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help raise awareness and provide hope for those impacted by the disease.

Schedule regular mammograms and be aware of any changes. Don't put it off, don't ever put it off! Early detection can save you or someone you know.  -Sherril

We created Comfort for a Cause because we know that pulling together as a company and as a community, we have the potential to reach a lot of people in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex and hopefully impact a lot of lives. Our employees are excited to be part of a cause that has the potential to help a lot of people within the community and across the country.

For the month of October, we are offering up to 60% OFF all Air Conditioning equipment, while donating a portion of all proceeds to help bring awareness about early detection through many of the services provided by National Breast Cancer Foundation.  Learn More.

More about our Partner, National Breast Cancer Foundation

The National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor, Janelle Hail.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1980 at the age of 34.  At the time of her diagnosis, there was little information about the disease, and she was forced to make a decision about her health with few options.  After her treatment, Janelle made a commitment to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.
