Is the air in my home healthy? Do I know what I’m breathing in every day and every night?
These are a couple of questions that you may not be asking yourself, but they certainly are important to consider. You spend a lot of time in your home, and the air you breathe can have a significant impact on your health. GreenAir UV is a powerful solution to odor and germs in your home’s air supply. By utilizing the capabilities of UV-C Light and Activated Carbon, GreenAir UV is highly effective at providing clean air to your entire home.

Why GreenAir UV?

UV-C Light + Activated Carbon
GreenAir UV combines the power of activated carbon and UV-C light, which results in unparalleled odor and germ reduction, while producing NO harmful ozone.
In-Duct = Highly Effective
GreenAir UV is installed within the ductwork of your home’s central air conditioning system where it cleanses the air as it passes through.
VOC Reduction
GreenAir UV effectively reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs) which can cause odors, and may even include toxic chemical vapors like toluene and formaldehyde.

GreenAir UV Sterilizes Microbial Contaminants
UV-C light is invisible, and it deeply penetrates the membranes within bacteria, mold, viruses, and more. UV-C attacks the DNA of these microorganisms, which inhibits their ability to reproduce and spread. A GreenAir UV whole-house air purifier improves indoor air quality by destroying odor-causing and potentially toxic VOCs, while sterilizing mold, bacteria, viruses, and allergens from the air stream.

GreenAir UV Detoxes Your Air
GreenAir UV detoxes your air with a process called photocatalytic oxidation (PCO). Photocatalytic Oxidation works similarly to the catalytic converter in your car’s exhaust. UV-C light reacts with titanium dioxide infused into the carbon which effectively disintegrates the collected contaminants, leaving behind harmless water vapor and CO₂, which are released back into the air. This process leaves the carbon cells clean, which means they will never fill up or need to be replaced. What’s left is clean, odor-free air throughout your home.

How GreenAir UV Works

Odor Reduction

Odor Reduction
Odor-causing and potentially toxic Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) can accumulate in interior spaces. If left unchecked, these airborne chemicals can build up to dangerous levels.

Carbon Matrix

Carbon Matrix
As VOC molecules pass through GreenAir UV, they are captured and held by the carbon matrix. Light from the UV lamp shines on the carbon/titanium dioxide surface, creating a photocatalytic reaction which breaks down VOCs into simpler components.

Clean Air

After being transformed by the photocatalytic process, all that remains of the once harmful VOCs is water vapor and carbon dioxide, which pass back into the air leaving the carbon matrix clean and regenerated. Thus, the GreenAir UV system is virtually maintenance free.
